Assistant Manager, Group Legal

Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advisory support to various operating units to the Group
  • Review and draft of legal / business agreements and documentation to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and policies / guidelines
  • Provide administrative support and monitor legal documentation from initial to complete stage
  • Coordinate with external lawyers, regulators and 3rd parties to ensure legal issues are resolved efficiently
  • Assist and attend to assignments pertaining to legal matters from time to time
Requirements:
  • Degree in Law or other relevant discipline
  • Minimum 4-5 years working experience as legal practitioner or as an in-house legal executive with exposure in credit facility and commercial contract drafting
  • Those with experience in banking or finance industry would be an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills with good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Positive attitude, resourceful, self-motivatd and meticulous
